Over the course of seven days, you and your trusty canoe will travel from one island to another. On the first day of the trip, we will teach you how to steer your canoe and you will receive all the instructions you need in order to survive the next seven days in nature!

We organized our first Canoe Trip at Travelbase in 2017. Also last summer (2020) we could safely organize our Canoe Trips to Sweden. Curious about the unforgettable experiences of our Canoe Trippers? You can read them in our Facebookgroup!

Camping in the wild...

We will show you the best camping spots along the route in our map. You will be able to set up camp on these spots, and most of the times it's allowed to make a campfire. You may meet other Canoe Trippers on these spots and of course you can always opt to camp on your own private island. At the beginning of the trip you will receive a camping permit which grants you permission to camp anywhere in the Värmland.

After 7 days of canoeing you will return with the most amazing memories to our basecamp. If you want to take it easy during the trip, you can also map out 6 days route!

The Route

We have prepared several itineraries in Värmland, Immeln and Glaskogen that will take you to the most beautiful lakes and rivers. In each area you can choose different routes depending on how many km's you want to do per day.

All routes make a loop, starting at our basecamp. On each trip you can choose shortcuts or detours based on your daily preferences. Sometimes you will also need to do some land transports to get your canoe to the next spot; simply mount it on wheels and tow it to the next little lake.

How long are the routes?

  • Adventurers that have a good basic physical condition but also want to have some time to relax can do a route of about 90km.
